its go time.

so im still here. still pregnant. 6 days till my due date (the 18th) and 8 days till they induce me ......
i feel as tho next week cant come any faster. im very overwhelmed with emotions, the fact that Ash will be here on Sat the 14th but has to leave on the 22nd .. if i end up having a c section he wont even be able to come home with us. dam you army making my life hard :( i still cant believe that after next week i am going to be a mum.. its crazy. im going to have a son. im so excited to see what he looks like and hold him and put cute outfits on him and take a billion photos :D hes moving around in my tummy as i type this and it is quite painful lol i wonder how big he will be? i hope 7pound. nothing over 8 please for my vaginas sake.
i made Ollie a little piggy bank and i put all mine and Ash's gold coins in it, im already so in love with both my boys and i really hope i can look back on this blog in a few years and i will still have my happy family :)

okay, so like the title says only 9 days till my due date i just spent another week with Ash and that was dam amazing but jesus christ im so over being pregnant. so now Ash is gone and cant come back only if i get induced im going to see my doctor and im hoping the 16th will be the big day :D

cant wait to meet little Oliver James we already love you so so much.

can not get over how amazing my week was with my boyfriend. 


he made me feel so special. it made me so happy to see how excited he was that Ollie was almost here. he took me out for dinner almost every night and the night he didnt he cooked me our dinner and tried to be all romantic!

Total weight gain: i have put on 12kg or 26pounds so far!

Maternity clothes: to poor .. sad face :(

Stretch marks: hmm. yeah on both sides of my lower belly i have about 3 :l

Sleep: sleep is fine :s i have been sleeping in an awful lot lol

Best moment this week: well! tomorrow my boyfriend is coming to stay for a week so that is AWESOME!

Miss anything? sleeping on my belly would be nice :l

Movement: alot of hiccups if they count haha no. of course! everyday he likes to poke his little body parts out ! 

Food cravings: hmm not sure. i do always feel like maccas 30cent cones but eh.

i miss my pre pregnancy hair

hmmm, look how nice my hair was before i got pregnant!

i really cant wait to have my normal hair back!! everyone told me that it gets so nice and healthy ... swear im going bald! :/

my sleepover in the maternity ward

This is the first scare iv had and i hope it never happens again.

So i woke up at around 3am monday the 19th of march with intense pains in my lower abdomen i layed in bed till about 4 thats when the pain got worse so i got up had a little walk to the kitchen made some tea and wanted to wait it out till someone woke up cause i really thought it wasn't that important. I waited and waited and the pain never went away at 5 my boyfriend called me and he was getting ready to go out bush with the army , its like when they go camp with all there gear and guns like as though they were at war but yeah i couldnt talk to him for long because the pain was getting worse so i told him i was going to have a shower to see if the cramps would go away so thats the last i heard from him. I went and had a shower but it made me feel light headed so i got out got dressed and when i walked out dad was awake this was around 530 i told him how i was feeling and went back and layed down, the water did help so i ran a bath and layed in that till around 630 i got out and the pain was still there so i asked him to wake mum to take me into the doctors i layed back down while she was in the shower and drifted off to sleep i woke up around 730 and left to go see my doctor still very much in pain i got in there and seen a nurse who said i looked like i was in labor so she called the doctor in and he said the same thing he then checked me and of course i wasn't they just liked to scare me anyway he asked were the pain was and i showed him. It was right were my appendix is so of course they said it was Appendicitis he then booked me in for an emergency ultrasound at 2 in the arvo and sent my to the hospital they put the drip in took blood and checked my blood sugar levels. My pulse was fine as was my blood pressure they checked the babies heart beat again it was 148 beats per min. Doctors came in and told me they were not really sure what to do because i was pregnant and you couldn't knock me out for surgery to remove my appendix so they said to wait it out and that i did... i had been up since 3 and had not eaten they wouldn't let me either just incase they had to operate i was really hungry and thirsty i layed in the bed till about 2 and they took me off the drip and left the needles in my arm they then sent me down to ultrasound. The ultrasound guy was awesome he had a guy working with him who was learning how to do stuff and he said if i let this learner have ago he would give me a 4D ultrasound so i was like ummm yeah!!! i think my baby was supper grumpy with all these people poking him and would not stop moving :D everything was fine he was doing great had grown alot in the 3weeks since i had seen him so i got afew photos and was sent back to hospital they said they wanted to keep me overnight i wasn't to impressed because they wouldn't let me eat and wouldn't take the needles out of my arm and hand ect i had started feeling better and just wanted to leave but nope. After 17hours of not eating they gave me a glass of water and a hot meal food never tasted so good. i had weighed myself that morning and i was still 51kg so after not eating all day i went back to 50kg at around 8 i went to bed with really sore arms and was getting woke up every hour either by a crying baby or a nurse i got woken up Tuesday morning at 7am and i felt fine they checked babies heartbeat and he was fine it was 149 beats per min then they checked me and all was good they took blood and came back good to i felt fine cramps were gone so mum came back in at 8 and we waited to see a doctor who said if any cramps come back to drive back in! so i was free to go the nurse took my needles out and boy were my arms so sore from sleeping with them in! i got home round 11 and had a nap. it feels so good to be home..

This is home at the moment. Most days i cant wait to leave here but im sure when im gone ill miss it.

Ash Feels His Son Kick

I hadn't seen Ash since Jan and  he finally got to come down on the long weekend at that point i was 21 weeks and 3days pregnant. I love it when he comes here cause not only do i hate the 8 and a half hour bus trip i also hate spending Ash's money on a motel room as im not aloud to stay on base :/
anyway when he comes here he is so happy!! he gets to be around me,his friends (who i also love) and he gets to stay at my parents house so that means no spending money.

He got here on a Friday night and we planed to have a movie night at mine on the Saturday so him and his friends could have a drink and just relax, he hadn't felt his son kick all of Friday and all of Saturday. So our friends Hannah and Stevo rocked up and watched a whole bunch of movies they ended up leaving around 1 in the morning me and Ash were laying in bed just about asleep when baby boy woke me up!! i grabbed Ash's hand to show him it was pitch black dark and all i could hear was "omg i felt that!!!!!.......and that!! omg my little footy player" right then a tear came to my eye :') i will never forget that moment ever.
